Introduction to Snorkelling

Snorkelling is fun, easy and one of the best ways to experience the amazing underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef.

If you’ve never snorkelled before, would like to become a more confident snorkeller or learn some expert tips before you head out to the Reef, this 45 minute introductory session to snorkelling is perfect for you.

Sessions take place at Pro Dive Cairns’ 5 Star Training Centre in the calm waters of a heated swimming pool. With professional instructors and small group sizes, you can learn how to use snorkel gear, breath comfortably and practice snorkelling in a supervised environment.

Our goal is to help you become confident and relaxed whilst snorkelling so you can fully enjoy your Great Barrier Reef experience. Soon you will be drifting over mesmerising coral gardens and colourful marine life with ease!

Available: Monday to Friday
Session times: 08:00, 11:00 or 17:30.
Duration: Approx 45 minutes

  • Minimum group size is 10 people and maximum of 16 people per instructor.

  • Cancellation Policy: Introduction to Snorkelling session is refundable up until 24 hours prior to commencement after which 100% cancellation fee applies.
